Centerpieces and Pomanders

These are mock up pictures from my visit with my florist, Karin, from Vintage Vines. These are not the finished product, by any means. She made both the centerpiece and pomander in about 15 minutes. This was more of a meeting to get an idea of what I liked, and to "play" with the flowers. She used minimal flowers in the mock up, but as she says, the real centerpieces will be a whole lot fuller. So, you can still see the Styrofoam beneath the flowers, but you won't on the day of. I love the mock up, and can just imagine what the real things will look like!!!

I apologize for the quality of the pictures. We had the centerpiece set up in her tea room, and she has very busy walls in there. You'll get an idea though!

The centerpiece is on a tall, black, iron stand. The arrangement on the top will be with red flowers (in the picture it is red roses, gerber daisies, and carnations. Sticking out of the top are two red and black pheasant feathers. Then hanging from the arrangement are crystals (hard to see in this picture) and red tea lights. There will be red tea lights on the table, as well as red LED lights under the arrangement, shining up to hit the crystals!

A closer look at the flowers (like I said, the real arrangement will be much fuller!) and the red amaranthus (hangy stuff).

The awesome, funky, different pomanders! Red carnations, wrapped in black bear grass, with two red and black pheasant feathers. Dangling amaranthus and crystals! These will line the aisle at every row!! (Will be hanging from a black shepherd hook).
